DESIGNforCMS has no intention, nor desire, to maintain rights over your website - it’s YOURS. We clearly state this in our Terms and Conditions:
(d) Rights of Clients. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Conditions, you shall own the final the Response composition provided to you by DESIGNforCMS (the "Final Product").
Our Portfolio & Case Studies
Your website name and some screen shots may be included in the DESIGNforCMS promotional materials (ex. The Portfolio). Generally, permission is requested before creating a full-fledged Case Study.
Section 4/d of the Terms and Conditions covers this topic. In the event, you'd like your project omitted from our promotional materials, you should talk to your Project Manager - additional charges may, or may not be, involved.
Unused Materials
While designing your website, DESIGNforCMS will propose a series of Concept Drafts and Revisions. You do not have the right to use these, they remain the property of DESIGNforCMS.
Royalty Free, Open Source and Third Party Materials
You "own" your custom website design, but you do not "own" all the third party materials that comprise it. For example, suppose your website is mounted on the Joomla CMS - you own your website, but you don't own Joomla. Makes sense, no?
Royalty free stock photos are often used. You should expect to see these images elsewhere on the Internet and in the world. If you want to use copyrighted images, please provide these to your Project Manager.
